Nigel Bisnath

Nigel Bisnath joined Global Securitization Services, LLC (“GSS”) in September of 2021.  He oversees the tax function of the firm, working closely with senior level management and the accounting personnel at GSS to ensure the timely and accurate completion of the tax filings for each special purpose company under management.  Mr. Bisnath’s broad background in both domestic and cross-border tax matters enables GSS to facilitate its clients’ questions and concerns related to the tax positions of their structures and special purpose vehicles.  

Before joining GSS, Mr. Bisnath spent fourteen years in the energy and commodity industry where he was responsible for the global income tax function including planning and restructuring, compliance, and reporting.  Prior to that, he spent six years at Deloitte Tax LLP and Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP working in both the federal / state tax groups and the financial advisory / litigation support groups.

Mr. Bisnath received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Pace University in 1998 and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from Bernard Baruch College in 2002.  He obtained his New York State Certified Public Accountant license in 2001, and is a member of the Tax Executives Institute, the Wall Street Tax Institute, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  He lives with his family in Merrick, New York.
